Lead Engineer for new wearable continuous alcohol monitor: Developed a miniature ankle monitor with multiple tamper detection features (strap tension, heart rate, body presence, body impedance) for DUI court and rehab. Used Nordic components for processor, Bluetooth, WIFI, and cellular. Designed and built custom analog circuitry and AFE for alcohol fuel cell, built prototypes, wrote firmware, and developed a mobile app for testing for Scram Systems..

Enhanced a web portal and communications system for remote medication delivery machines (Tabsafe), using C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, Exchange Server, and Lync Server. Embedded machine code written in C and C++; system ported to Microsoft Azure. Set up Azure platforms for mobile communications, web servers, VMs, webjobs, function apps, SQL server, and REST services in Java and C#.

Designed and built consumer hydration monitor for Denver Life Sciences, including water pH and other sensors.

Conceptualized plug-and-play electronic subsystems for reconfigurable avionics for Air Force Research Labs.. Led modular reconfigurable avionics and processor board (RPB) design, including radiation-tolerant architecture and detailed electrical design. Designed and built subsystems using Xilinx Virtex II, IV, and Actel FPGAs, ported Linux to embedded processors, and developed test software utilities.
